To load inventory levels and quantities into the system, you would go "Import Inventory Quantities and Values" under Getting Started area to load your data. Use the csv file inventory_quantities_and_values.csv.
The csv template has the following required columns. You only need 4 columns if you stock the product in one unit(e.g. EA). If you do stock the products in different units, then you would need additional columns like Facility Code 2, QTY 2 ,UOM 2.
Warehouse location in VersAccounts is called Facility. If you have multiple Facilities enabled for your account, you would be able to create more than one Facility(warehouse).
Part Number: Part Number of the product
Value: The total value of the inventory in your home currency.
Facility Code 1: WHS if you only have one facility/warehouse. If you have set up multiple facilities/warehouses, put the facility code (set when you create the facility) here.
QTY 1: The inventory level of the product.
UOM 1: Unit name of the product. EA for example.
Examples:
1. This will bring in 100 dollar worth of product with the part number 1234 into the system. Inventory of the item is 10 EA
Part Number | Value | Facility Code 1 | QTY 1 | UOM1 |
1234 | 100 | WHS | 10 | EA |
2. This will bring in 100 dollar worth of product with the part number 1234 into 2 seperate facilities(warehouse). Facility WHS holds 5 EA of the product and Facility DHS holds 5 EA of the product.
Part Number | Value | Facility Code 1 | QTY 1 | UOM1 | Facility Code 2 | QTY 2 | UOM 2 |
1234 | 100 | WHS | 5 | EA | DHS | 5 | EA |
