An entity is a legal entity the company owns and the finances of the entity need to keep separate from other entities. By default, every account in Versa Cloud ERP would have one primary entity. You can create additional entities in Versa Cloud ERP so that you can use one account to manage multiple entities. This setup would allow you to run consolidated financial for all entities.

The Entity is set up under the Setup Menu. An entity would have its own address, currency, customers, suppliers, financials. Certain data is shared across all entities such as product definition, chart of accounts(certain accounts can be created for just one entity).
